This decision comes after productive talks between university administrators and stakeholders including student representatives. The key issues of contention, the Learning Management System (LMS) and ACCWAC card payments, have been removed from the mandatory payments section of the portal.
AAU’s management expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached with students. They stated all changes agreed upon during the negotiations have now been implemented in the payment portal.AAU Payment Portal
“We are pleased an understanding could be reached regarding the payment portal,” said a university spokesperson. “Ensuring our students can seamlessly handle financial matters online is a top priority. The portal is now fully operational with the agreed upon changes.”
The student representatives also released a statement thanking the university for listening to their concerns and making the portal more accessible. They encouraged all returning students to log in and resume making any necessary payments for the upcoming semester.
This resolution comes just in time, as the new semester is set to begin shortly. AAU is hopeful that this will put to rest the issues surrounding the payment portal and allow students to focus on their academics.
