Alvan Ikoku COE Post-UTME/DE 2023: Key Details – Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education has commenced screening of candidates seeking admission into its degree and NCE programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.School News Portal

In a statement released today, the college invited candidates who chose it as their first choice and scored 160 and above in this year’s UTME to participate in the screening exercise. It also welcomed interested candidates who did not originally select the college but obtained the benchmark score to apply after changing institutions on the JAMB portal.

According to the registrar, the screening registration which started on October 16 will run till December 21. Eligible candidates are to pay a processing fee of N2,000 through the Remita platform at any commercial bank and proceed to complete the online application process.Alvan Ikoku COE

The process requires visiting the college website, clicking on Prospective Students to access the login page, and entering the JAMB registration number to commence registration. Applicants are to carefully fill out the screening form to generate a Remita invoice and pay the screening fee at the bank.

Upon payment, candidates will return to the portal to complete the form by inputting their O’level results, uploading required documents and confirming details before final submission. Printed acknowledgement slips serve as evidence of successful application.

Documents required for upload include JAMB result slip, O’level results, birth certificate, LGA identification, and red background passport photographs. Direct entry applicants must also upload a JAMB registration slip and previous school statement of results.

The registrar advised compliance with guidelines and accurate filling of forms to avoid hitches, stating any false information provided would lead to disqualification.

The statement added that evening, weekend and sandwich programme applicants should first obtain JAMB registration numbers before accessing the college portal to apply.

The screening is part of the admission process for the college’s degree and NCE programmes in the incoming academic session.
