AOPE Second semester 2022/23 schedule – The management and academic board of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic in Eruwa has approved a new adjusted academic calendar for the 2022-2023 session. The revised schedule was announced on Thursday, July 6th after extensive review by school officials.

The updated calendar has pushed back the resumption date for all students to Monday, July 24th, 2023. A two week registration period will follow from July 24th through August 4th. The second semester of lectures will then commence, running for 12 weeks from July 24th to October 13th.

Mid-semester exams are slated for the week of September 25th-29th. Students will get a one week reading break from October 30th to November 3rd before concluding the semester with three weeks of final exams from November 6th-24th.

Lecturers will have two weeks from November 27th to December 8th to finish grading exams before faculty consideration of results from December 11th-14th. The academic board will then convene December 14th-15th to review and approve all examination results.

The revised calendar draws the 2022-2023 second semester to a close on Friday, December 15th. School officials said the new schedule was adapted to better align with constraints and opportunities that arose over the course of the semester.

“After careful evaluation, we felt an adjusted timeline would enable students to complete the term successfully,” said a school spokesperson. “The updated calendar balances the needs of learners, faculty, and administration.”

The new calendar retains all the important dates from the original schedule. The tweaks mainly center around pushing fall semester events back by two to three weeks. School officials say they will continue monitoring the situation and make any additional changes if necessary.

Students are advised to consult the academic calendar on the school website for the complete revised schedule. Administration and faculty are prepared to answer any questions or concerns about the new second semester timeline.
