EBSU SUG Important Community Notice – Ebonyi State University has announced new security measures taking effect October 26th, 2023. The university notified the campus community that all vehicles entering the main campus gate will be required to stop and collect a tally from gate security starting Thursday.

Additionally, those exiting campus will have to stop for a search at the main gate before leaving. The university emphasized that these new protocols are compulsory for all faculty, staff, students, and visitors driving onto campus.

The new security measures aim to improve safety and monitoring of traffic in and out of the university. Drivers are advised to allow extra time for the tally and exit search procedures when entering or leaving campus.

The university notified the community in advance to ensure a smooth transition and compliance with the new mandatory gate protocols. Campus security will be on hand to manage the new procedures and address any issues.
