Fordham College at Lincoln Center Academic Calendar 2023/2024
Fordham Academic Calendar – The Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC) is pleased to present the academic calendar for the 2023-2024 academic year. FCLC is one of the constituent colleges of Fordham University and is located in the heart of New York City’s Manhattan borough. Founded in 1913 by Joseph G. Dunn, FCLC has a rich history of providing a liberal arts education grounded in Jesuit traditions to its students for over 100 years.
The calendar highlights important academic dates and events for FCLC students, who pursue degrees across a wide range of disciplines in the liberal arts and sciences. Some of the key dates outlined include the beginning and end of semesters, holidays and breaks, course add/drop deadlines, exams, on-campus special events, and graduation. The fall 2023 semester begins on August 30th, 2023 with student orientation programs starting on August 27th. Final exams will be held between December 13th-20th before the winter recess from December 22nd, 2023 to January 1st, 2024. The spring 2024 semester commences on January 16th, 2024 with finals scheduled for May 6th to 13th and graduation on May 18th, 2024. Several enrichment activities like the Mass of the Holy Spirit, Dean’s List Ceremony, Family Weekend, Awards Ceremony and others also feature in the calendar.
The calendar is designed to help new and returning students effectively plan their semesters and ensure they do not miss any important academic obligations or events. Following it closely will allow FCLC students to have a rewarding Fordham experience, opening doors to a successful career and brighter future. Alongside their regular coursework, students are encouraged to engage deeply with the cultural, spiritual and community programming available to enrich their perspectives.
