FUWUKARI SUG Responds to School Fee Payment Circular- A recent circular released by Babcock University administration regarding fee payments seems to contradict an earlier agreement made with the Student Union Government (SUG), according to SUG sources.School News Portal
The circular stated that students in 200 to 500 level who paid 50% fees for the first semester must pay the remainder within two weeks from resumption, rather than two weeks before exams as allegedly agreed upon.
The SUG urged students to remain calm, insisting the new circular violates the original agreement made at the start of the semester. “The management agreed with SUG leaders that fee payments could continue until two weeks before exams,” said an SUG rep. “This new circular goes against what was already decided.” The SUG said they will be following up with the administration regarding the unexpected policy change.
