KASU Part-Time Undergraduate Admission 2023/2024 – The School of Continuing Education at Kaduna State University’s Kakuri Campus has announced admission requirements and procedures for prospective students looking to enrol in part-time degree programs for the 2023-2024 academic session.KASU Part-Time Undergraduate

According to a statement from the university, admission is open from October 24th to November 23rd, 2023. Interested candidates should have a minimum of five relevant passes at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in not more than two sittings, including a credit pass in English and Mathematics.

Direct entry candidates are required to have the minimum five relevant O’level credits including English and Mathematics, as well as the minimum A-level points for their program of interest. For example, candidates with an NCE or diploma will be considered for direct entry into the 200 level.
Top-up candidates should have the five relevant SSCE credits and either an HND with at least a credit or a bachelor’s degree with a third class, and will be considered for direct entry into the 400 level.
The available programs include: B.A. in Arabic, English, Hausa, and Islamic Studies under the Department of Art; B.Sc. in Computer Science and Geography under the Department of Science; B.Sc. in Criminology, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, and Sociology under the Department of Social Science; and B.Sc. in Accounting and Business Administration under the Department of Management Science.
The university advised interested candidates to visit the application portal at http://forms.kasu.edu.ng to fill out the online application form. After completing the form, applicants should report to the school campus with printed copies of the form and relevant documents for clearance and screening.

The statement also outlined that 100 level admits will spend a minimum of 5 years, 200 level admits will spend 4 years minimum, and 400 level admits will spend a minimum of 2 years before graduation. All graduates will be awarded either a B.A. or B.Sc. degree.
