Kogi State, Nigeria – The management of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) has released the provisional admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session. This was disclosed in a statement by the Registrar of the university earlier today, Thursday, October 5, 2023.
The admission list contains the names of successful candidates offered provisional admission into the various undergraduate programmes at the university for the next academic session.
According to the Registrar, the admission list has been uploaded on the university’s website and candidates can also check their admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.KSU admission list
The Registrar explained further that all candidates who participated in the university’s post-UTME screening exercise should visit the JAMB CAPS portal to check their admission status.
To check admission status on JAMB CAPS, candidates are to visit www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and login with their registered email address and password. For candidates who receive admission offers, they are required to either accept or reject the offer accordingly by clicking the designated buttons on the portal. Accepting the admission offer confirms the intention of the candidate to proceed with the admission process, while rejecting forfeits the admission.
The Registrar noted that this admission list is provisional, and the school management reserves the right to withdraw any listed candidate who fails to meet the full admission requirements.
He thus advised all provisionally admitted candidates to complete their admission registration process without delay by paying the required acceptance fee and uploading vital documents to the portal to confirm their admission.
The university had earlier conducted its post-UTME screening exercise in September for candidates who chose the school as their preferred choice of institution during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration.
Prince Abubakar Audu University, formerly known as Kogi State University is located in Anyigba, Kogi State, North-Central Nigeria. The school was recently renamed in honor of the former governor of Kogi State, late Prince Abubakar Audu.
CONCLUSION
The release of the 2023/2024 provisional admission list by Kogi State University signifies a major step in the admission process for next academic year. With their admission status now available, successful candidates can look towards completing their registration and preparing for resumption.
However, candidates are reminded that the admission list is still provisional. The onus is on each admitted student to fulfill all admission requirements and accept their offer on the CAPS portal. Candidates who fail to complete their registration may have their admission revoked by the school. The KSU management has assured that the admission process will be fair and transparent. Congratulations to all successful candidates as we look forward to the 2023/2024 academic session.
