AKSU postgraduate Entry form for 2023/2024 Academic Year – Akwa Ibom State University invites applications for admission into Postgraduate Programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. Applicants must satisfy the University’s matriculation requirements to be considered for master’s and doctoral degrees across fields like science, engineering, arts and humanities. Akwa Ibom State University has announced that applications are now open for postgraduate studies for the 2023/2024 academic session. Interested applicants can apply online by following a few simple steps.
According to a statement by the university, applicants will need to pay an application fee of N20,000 (excluding charges) to access the application portal. To start the application process, applicants should visit the university’s website at www.aksu.edu.ng/pg/portal and click on the “Start Now” button. They will then need to select “Enrol”, followed by “Postgraduate” and enter their phone number.AKSU postgraduate Entry form

Applicants will enter the last six digits of their phone number on the next page before providing basic personal details such as name, date of birth, gender and marital status. They can then pay the application fee of N20,700 using a debit card.
After completing the payment, applicants should return to the portal, fill out the online application form and upload scanned copies of required documents including SSC/degree certificates, NYSC discharge certificates, birth certificates and certificates of origin. The completed form should then be printed out.
According to the university, applicants for master’s degree programs should also include a thesis proposal while PhD applicants should include their MSc/MA/MEd/MBA certificate. All applicants are required to request for their academic transcripts to be sent directly to the secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
Once the form is filled, applicants can submit it online and print out the registration confirmation slip. The printed application form and credentials should be sent in an envelope addressed to the Secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Akwa Ibom State University.

The university advised that all email addresses provided in the application must be valid and all information provided should be accurate to avoid disqualification.
The deadline for the submission of the completed online application along with hard copies of documents is December 22, 2023. The university does not offer academic master’s programmes on a part-time basis.
With this announcement, the university has kickstarted the process for admission into postgraduate programmes in various faculties and departments for the next academic year. All interested applicants are advised to apply on time.
