Federal College of Education (Tech) Umunze 2023/2024 NCE Admission – The Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze has announced that applications are now open for admission into its National Certificate in Education (NCE) Sandwich, Continuing Education Programme (CEP), and Pre-NCE programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.

In a statement released by the college’s Sandwich Unit, a range of courses are available in the NCE sandwich and CEP programmes including Agricultural Education, Primary Education Studies, Computer/Chemistry Education, Computer/Mathematics Education, Home Economics Education, English Language Education, Integrated Science Education, Early Childhood Education, Igbo/Maths, Igbo English, and more.
For the Industrial Technical Education courses, options such as Building, Automobile, Metal, Woodwork, and Electrical are offered. The Pre-NCE programme has options in Agriculture Business and Primary Education Studies.

The entry requirements listed for the programmes are the same as the regular NCE programme. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 O’level credits including English Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 credits obtained at once and 2 by accumulation. The 3 instant credits must be relevant to the course the applicant wishes to study.
In addition, applicants with the Grade II Teachers Certificate (TCII) are also eligible to apply for the programmes.
The application fee is N5,000 payable through the Remita online payment platform. All interested applicants who did not originally select FCE Umunze as their first choice institution can update their JAMB profile to reflect this before proceeding to fill the online screening form on the college’s website at www.fcetumunze.edu.ng.
According to the statement, the application process is now open. All qualified candidates are advised to take advantage of this opportunity to acquire an NCE certificate through the sandwich, CEP or Pre-NCE programmes which allow for working while studying.
