According to the examination body, some institutions may not publish their admission lists on their websites or notice boards. The only way candidates who applied to such schools can know their admission status is by checking it directly on JAMB CAPS.JAMB CAPS admission status

To check admission status on CAPS, candidates are to visit the JAMB website, login with their email address and password, then click on ‘Check Admission Status’. This will take them to the CAPS portal where they can view their admission status.

If a candidate has been offered admission, it will be clearly indicated on the portal. The candidate’s details like name, passport photo etc will be displayed with a congratulatory message. For those who are yet to be admitted, a message stating “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet” will be displayed.

Candidates who receive admission offers are advised to promptly accept or reject the offer online. This enables their institutions to process their admission timely. Admitted candidates can also print out their admission letters from the portal after accepting the offer.
