Nwafor Orizu COE 8th TRCN Induction Ceremony – November 1, 2023 – The school administration announced that the 8th Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) induction ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 at 10:00am in the Main Auditorium. The Provost, Dr. Christianah Mogaji, stated that all academic staff are required to attend in their academic gowns and join the procession for a colourful ceremony. She emphasized that this is a mandatory occasion and urged all staff to participate fully.
The TRCN induction is a critical milestone that confers professional teaching status on college graduates after completing all requirements. The inductees will take the teaching oath and receive their certificates at the ceremony.Nwafor Orizu COE

Established in 1993, the TRCN aims to regulate and control the teaching profession. Trinity College has been at the forefront of producing qualified teachers for basic education in Nigeria. The Provost noted that the college is proud to organize the induction for the 8th batch of graduates this year.
With over 150 inductees, the college has encouraged the public to witness the event. The ceremony will also be graced by officials from the state Ministry of Education, local education boards, parents of inductees and other stakeholders. The college choir will perform the national anthem to commence proceedings.
