Ole Miss Academic Calendar 2023/2024

Ole Miss Academic Calendar – The University of Mississippi academic calendar provides important semester dates, deadlines, and events for students, faculty, staff, and administration. Following the calendar facilitates university operations and helps students meet requirements. The calendar is published by the Office of the Registrar each year.

The University of Mississippi divides the academic year into three primary semesters – Fall, Spring, and Summer, with each Fall and Spring semester lasting approximately 4 months. The Summer semester is split into multiple shorter sessions of 3-6 weeks. The calendar denotes registration periods, class start/end dates, university breaks, final exams, grade deadlines, and more. There are also important deadlines for payments and class withdrawals which impact tuition refunds, fees, and a student’s enrollment status.

Additional one to two week sessions are offered over Winter Break through an optional Winter Intersession semester. The calendar thoroughly outlines key dates for this intensive period.
