SCAD Academic Calendar 2023/2024

SCAD Academic Calendar – The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) was founded in 1978 in Savannah, Georgia by Richard Rowan, Paula Wallace, May Poetter and Paul Poetter. It emerged out of the local art college with a vision to prepare talented students for creative professions. Today, SCAD has grown into one of the largest art and design universities in the U.S. It has locations in Savannah, Atlanta, Hong Kong and Lacoste, France.

SCAD offers more than 100 academic programs across disciplines like painting, photography, animation and more. The university is renowned for encouraging students to develop their own signature style. Small class sizes, state-of-the-art technology and global connections provide an ideal environment for creativity. SCAD also owns and operates the award-winning SCAD Museum of Art, featuring rotating exhibits of acclaimed artists.
