SLU Academic Calendar 1st Semester 2023/2024
SLU 1st Semester 2023/2024 Academic Calendar: The University Senate has approved the academic calendar for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic session at its 73rd Regular Meeting held on October 19th.
According to the new calendar, fresh and returning students will register from Monday, October 30th through Friday, November 10th, 2023. First semester lectures will commence on Monday, November 13th.

Students will observe a mid-semester break from Monday, January 8th to Sunday, January 14th, 2024 before returning to continue lectures on Monday, January 15th. Lectures will run through Saturday, March 2nd.
End of first semester examinations are scheduled from Monday, March 4th to Saturday, March 23rd, 2023. The specific exam timetable will be released in due course.

The approved academic calendar outlines the key dates for the semester including registration, lecture periods, holidays and exams. Students are advised to take note of the schedule for the first semester 2023/2024 session.

The university senate has announced the calendar well in advance to allow students and faculty to effectively plan and prepare for the upcoming semester. All are expected to adhere to the approved dates. The calendar will also enable proper management and execution of academic activities for the semester.
