UGA academic calendar fall 2023
The University of Georgia academic calendar for the Fall Semester 2023 runs from Wednesday, August 16, 2023 to Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Students at University of Georgia can register for fall courses from Monday, April 24, 2023 to Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Students can also add and drop fall courses from Wednesday, August 16, 2023 to Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

- November 21, 2023 – Last day of Classes prior to Thanksgiving Break

- December 5, 2023 – Friday’s Class Schedule is in Effect

UGA academic calendar spring 2024
On the University of Georgia academic calendar, the Spring Semester 2024 is 15 weeks long including both classes and exams. The Spring Semester 2024 at the University of Georgia runs from Monday, January 8, 2024, to Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Students at the University of Georgia can register for spring courses from Monday, November 20, 2023, to Friday, January 5, 2024. Students can also add and drop spring courses from Monday, January 8, 2024, to Friday, January 12, 2024.
The spring semester includes a Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday on Monday, January 15, 2024. There is also a University of Georgia spring break from Monday, March 4, 2024, to Friday, March 8, 2024. Classes at the University of Georgia resume after spring break on Monday, March 11, 2024. The last day of spring classes is Monday, April 29, 2024.
