In a statement released today, the university advised all newly admitted students who have accepted their admission on JAMB CAPS to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N20,000. This payment will enable students to print their acceptance forms, admission letters and school fee charts before proceeding to pay their tuition fees.
Giving details on the payment procedure, the university noted that students are to first log on to the school’s website at http://www.unicrosss.edu.ng and click on the EDU-PORTAL link which will redirect them to the portal at https://portal.unicross.edu.ng.
On the portal, students are required to click on ‘Admission’ and then ‘Applicant Login’ to sign in with the email and password used for their post UTME registration. After signing in, they should click on ‘Click here to initialize payment’ to be redirected to the payment platform and make the N20,000 acceptance fee payment.

Upon successful payment, students can re-login to their portals and download their acceptance fee receipts, provisional admission letters, acceptance forms/undertakings and school fees charts.
The university emphasized that payment of the acceptance fee is compulsory for all newly admitted students before they can proceed to pay their school fees and register for the new academic session.

The University of Cross River State is located in Calabar, Cross River State and has over 10 faculties offering various undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. The school recently announced that it has completed preparations to welcome all newly admitted students for the 2023/2024 academic calendar which begins soon.
