UNIMAID Extends Deadline for Fee Payment and Registration – The University of Lagos announced yesterday that the second phase of registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (post-UTME) is now open. This phase will run from October 18 to October 28, 2023.
The university is urging all applicants to utilize this registration window to complete their applications accurately, as no further appeals regarding registration will be considered after the deadline. Applicants must provide their own personal email address and phone number when registering, and are advised not to use contact information belonging to someone else. The university cautioned that requests to change email addresses or phone numbers after registration may incur administrative fees.
“We want to ensure a smooth registration process for all applicants,” said Dr. Adana Mustapha, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the university. “By planning ahead and registering with their own contact information before the deadline, applicants can avoid any issues down the line.”
The post-UTME is used by universities in Nigeria to screen and select qualified candidates for admission. Performance on the exam, in addition to UTME scores and other factors, determines whether applicants receive admission offers from the university.
The University of Lagos wishes all applicants the best of luck as they complete this important step in the admissions process. University administrators emphasize that students should direct any questions or concerns to the Office of Admissions to avoid potential problems with their applications.
